Tuition
The cost of the 200-hour certification program is approximately $2650. It's up to the individual student how fast they move through the program by attending weekly workshops or weekend workshops or both. Most students do a combination of weekly evening 7:30 to 9:30 pm, and monthly weekend intensives. A one-time administration fee of $500 is included in the price and must be paid at time of enrollment into the program. The remainder of the costs are pay-as-you-go. This is our way of giving the student built-in flexibilty for the realitys of contemporary life. Some students complete the program in six or eight months. Some students take much longer, depending on their personal needs. When a new student enrolls in the program, he or she has a one-hour orientation in which the handouts, the levels, the log-sheets are distributed and explained. A variety of highly-experienced, certified instructors participate in the teaching and on-going learning experience at three different Yoga Mountain locations, under the Direction of Gail Walsh.
We encourage certification students to experience all the instructors at Yoga Mountain. Regular classes are open to certification students as part of our 'seva' - service program. Certification students may attend classes at the discretion and with the agreement of the Yoga Mountain Instructor, by performing some pre-arranged service for that instructor and/or that instructor's classes. These hours may be applied to 'elective' requirments in the certification program. We offer over twenty regular classes a week.
